Register
Pesky gNATs-ID is designed for use by qualified mental health professionals who work with adults with intellectual disabilities. It is currently only available to mental health professionals in Ireland and the UK.
Pesky gNATs-ID, Feel Good Island is available to mental health professionals with the following qualifications:
- Clinical, Counselling & Educational Psychology,
- Child and Adolescent & Adult Psychiatry,
- Clinicians with a Post Graduate University Degree Qualification in an evidenced based form of Psychotherapy
- Psychological Well-Being Practitioners
- Social Workers.
- Clinicians with a postgraduate qualification in mindfulness or formal training training in mindfulness based stress reduction or mindfulness based cognitive therapy (for Mindful Island)
- Clinicians with a postgraduate qualification in mindfulness or formal training training in mindfulness based stress reduction or mindfulness based cognitive therapy (for Mindful Island)
- Professionals currently training in one of these areas are also welcome to register.
To request access to the Pesky gNATs-ID online training and games please complete the steps below.
1. Complete the registration form.
Please indicate whether you are seeking licenses for the Feel Good Island (CBT), Mindful Island (Mindfulness) or both. When you register please indicate clearly what your qualifications are. Please also let us know about your current work, including the service name and location, the work you do and with whom. This will help us to speed up your access.
2. We will email you to confirm or decline your registration request
It is possible we will decline your registration request. The most likely reasons for this are:
- You have provided insufficient detail regarding your qualifications or current work.
- Your qualifications do not meet the criteria for use of Pesky gNATs-ID
3. Log onto website and register to access our training and games.
When you log onto the website you will be asked to register and give an email and choose your password. You will be sent an email to confirm your email address for your Pesky gNATs-ID account. Once you have done this and logged into your account you will be able to view the online training materials. You will also get a free license to use the game. This will allow one person to install and use the game. You can then use the game with an unlimited number of clients.
The game can only be used by the mental health professional who has the licence. It cannot be transferred to or used by other mental health professionals.
